I contacted BCA with high hopes, after seeing the extensive qualifications that the company possesses. It certainly exceeded my expectations. BCA set a high standard for me, something which would have seemed out of reach, but instead, with the structured training that was given, it allowed to me maximise my chance of going my farthest and fastest. I was sent weekly reports explaining, in detail, what my data was saying about my body and where we could improve. And due to this being in depth, having unlimited contact hours with a friendly voice at the other end allowed a deeper understanding and appreciation of cycling. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to set high standards and push themselves.
I have been coached by Jonathan for the past three years and I can definitely say that every training session that we had was very useful and I could feel the immediate improvements after. Most of the time training plans, prepared by Jonathan, really pushed me physically and technically which, in my opinion, are the two base components of any sport. What is more, besides being an excellent and skilled coach, Jonathan is a great person, who is very capable of dealing with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. To sum up, if you are an athlete who feels the need to improve physically, technically and have a great time doing it, Jonathan is the coach to have.

Struggling to motivate myself to run during Covid Winter Lockdown, I decided to enter some races to give myself something to look forward to. After many previous attempts of creating my own training plans, I decided to setup a Trainingpeaks account and follow a professionally developed plan, this is where I discovered BCA. Jonathan personalised my plan to work around my daily schedule and set me on the right track for my target race. He replies to emails very quickly, answers every question and amends training to suit unexpected events. The detailed guides included with the plan are very useful and full of professional advise, which work alongside the plan very well. Working with Jonathan has been a pleasure, he really goes the extra mile to support your goals.
In December 2019, I committed to a 150-mile sportive. I had been physically active in other sports but needed some guidance to transition to cycling. BCA Endurance was very supportive while I prepared for this event. Initially, they were available to assist in selecting the correct training plan for an older athlete. They were available to answer questions regarding the training plan And provided valuable updates regarding my progress every 5 weeks. Additional information about nutrition and fueling strategies were also provided. I completed my sportive this past weekend and felt well prepared for the event. I have been very happy with the services provided by BCA endurance and plan to continue to use their training plans/coaching support as I prepare for my next event.
In the middle of the COVID 19 pandemic, I had an ambitious granfondo in mind. However, the date was only 12 weeks away from a major surgery that would leave me a month inactive. With this in mind, I reached out to BCA for help. Jonathan proposed a specific training plan that was focussed on regaining my lost fitness after the surgery and tackling my main weaknesses. The structure put in place by Jonathan helped me to increase motivation, compliance and enjoyment. One of the key points during the plan was the fast email support provided by BCA. Jonathan would quickly react to fine-tune the plan to my changing time schedule or personal commitments. At the end of the plan, I was able to complete my race in the top quarter. Furthermore, training with BCA also increases my own insight as a rider. I'm happy to keep counting with the support of Jonathan during my next sportive challenges.
I used the master base plan with power. It was excellent. The plan was well structured and allowed me to focus on just following the daily routines without second-guessing myself. The workouts were well explained and the integration with TP's is excellent. I've bought the follow up plan as a result
This BCA plan was my first as I am a new TrainingPeaks user. Over the 6 weeks, I saw improvement in a number of metrics and found the schedule to work well for me while juggling other responsibilities (longer weekend rides required early risings). Jonathan was extremely responsive to my emails and provided great support. I would certainly recommend this plan to other riders getting started with more serious cycling.
The plan has helped hugely over the last two months by providing a great structure to stick to, and the additional information on physiology and nutrition that you provided has been very beneficial.
During the pandemic, I was looking for a professionally designed training program for my Spinning. With BCA I go a Partner and Trainer within one person. Jonathan is really spending time and effort to make my training better! Many thanks for it and I can say, I stay!
I've used structured training for a few years and enjoyed the services of a dedicated coach for cycling in the past but during the pandemic have been cobbling together my own plans to save money. The plan purchased from BCA was incredible value but more importantly delivered results! I've been able to train 6 days a week right through Jan without any sickness or injuries whilst seeing improvements in fitness, power, and HRV - I feel honestly fitter now than I did in June last year!
I've just purchased a 12-week plan and can't honestly see myself using any other training plan provider for the foreseeable future. I would highly recommend BCA to anyone that takes their health and fitness seriously but hasn't yet won the lottery!

My wife made us get a Peloton+ and I liked the bike, but was looking for some structure. I found TrainingPeaks and chose a BCA 16 week program for cyclocross. I just did the week 12 FTP test and saw a 27 point increase! I’ve done almost every workout as prescribed using the Peloton power meter and uploading the info into TP to track progress. I have been a cyclist for years, but never seriously into training. During COVID I let myself get way out of shape and gain a lot of weight. So, getting some strength back in my legs with easy to follow (but sometimes very tough) workouts is great. I reached out to BCA with a few questions and Jonathan always got back to me quickly. I am glad I found this training guide and look forward to doing another! Thank you BCA for making the Peloton+ an actual cycling training tool and not just a spin bike!
Jonathan has been terrific to work with. These series of plans that BCA has are just hard enough to get me into much better shape without burning out or being too mentally taxing. Jonathan has been able to help me through unplanned breaks, and vacations modifying plans to suit. He is also HIGHLY responsive to emails and is very knowledgeable about how training loads are supposed to impact fitness. I highly recommend reaching out to BCA and getting one of their analyses done on your previous work if you tracked it on Trainingpeaks. What I learned from the 8+ years of data from his analysis was highly valuable for predictors.
This pandemic season has threw my fitness level down, I am so glad that I picked the half marathon training plan (without a target to race) and this has helped to keep me training and bringing back my pace and endurance. Thanks.
After an off-year with no races and motivation I decided to come into 2021 stronger than ever. I contacted Jonathan with my goals and background and he recommended an excellent pre-built plan that helped me come away with the win of an early 4-race crit series! The plan he built had a nice progression from pre-season endurance to high-end work nearing race date. The included strength and nutrition guides were the icing on the cake!
BCA | Sprint ~ Power/Pace – ELITE MASTER – 11 wks. + 24/7 Email Support I have got this plan and very happy. I am not normally write the reviews, but decided to share my positive experience. I have trained with the coaches and clubs before, but due to my work specific , it did not quite work 100%. I was sceptical going on my own with the plan, but soon I have realized it was perfect. I've used the 16 week intermediate gran fondo program and now entering the taper phase 2 weeks till my event. Great fitness increases made as per FTP and ability to ride long on the weekends. And, thanks to this program, I have done it without getting any over-training injuries!

I was looking for some structure in my training and something that was achievable. That's what I got with Jonathan and BCA. The plan encouraged me to ride at levels I wouldn't have done otherwise. I feel fitter and have my 100 mile ride this Sunday and feel ready! I am now signing up for a pre-built plan to maintain my fitness and take on 300k ride in the summer. I've not bothered Jonathan much, but when I have e mailed have been so impressed by how quickly he comes back, and with the quality of the advice. Thank you Jonathan and BCA!!
This program was amazing, highly recommended. It's been very helpful for getting back in shape after missing much of the 2020 season due to covid-19. I looked at a lot of different programs and ultimielty took the chance on BCA and I was very impressed. I am back buying another one! Again, highly recommended. Changing the way coaching works, in my opinion.
This is great value for the money. Jonathan laid out a detailed and highly efficient 9-week program to improve strength and endurance. Because the plan was tailored to my specific needs, the workouts were challenging. The hard ones are much harder than generic plans you find on Zwift. There was a good mix of shorter hard interval rides combined with long aerobic Zone 2 efforts. And he includes a week of reduced intensity half-way through the program to allow for proper recovery. By the end, I was able to hit wattage numbers with a significantly lower heart rate than I was previously able. My FTP went from 224 to 248 watts in just nine weeks! Jonathan was always quick to respond by email to answer any questions. I plan on reaching out again for an off-season training plan.
